Clinton was the 11-1 winner over Lexington when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Clinton fell just short of Lexington by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Jack Manning put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Manning was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.
