Lake Norman is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over Hickory Ridge. The result was nothing new for Lake Norman, who have now won 14 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

West Cabarrus typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Cuthbertson proved too difficult a challenge. They had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 1-0. That's two games straight that Cuthbertson have won by just one goal.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Cesar Ramirez, who's now up to 15 this season.

Cuthbertson's victory bumped their record up to 13-6-1. As for Lake Norman, their win bumped their record up to 19-1-2.
