Baseball Game Preview: Wayne Valley Indians vs. Passaic Valley Hornets

For the second straight game, Wayne Valley will face off against Passaic Valley. The Indians will be playing at home against the Hornets at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.

Wayne Valley came out on top against Passaic Valley on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run first inning. The Indians took their contest against the Hornets 9-6.

The team relied heavily on Roman Rowbotham, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Michael Kamper, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Wayne Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Passaic Valley, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 13-6.
