Soccer Recap: Evergreen Falls Short of Cheyenne Mountain in the Playoffs

Evergreen and Cheyenne Mountain squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Evergreen had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red-Tailed Hawks. Evergreen were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cheyenne Mountain apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2015.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they pushed their record up to 10-4-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Evergreen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cheyenne Mountain, they will head out on the road to face off against Mullen at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
