Colton Conkle leads Coshocton to victory over Ridgewood

Even though the Ridgewood Generals scored an imposing 58 points on Wednesday, the Coshocton Redskins still came out on top. Coshocton snuck past Ridgewood with a 62-58 win. Given Coshocton's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Ridgewood is ranked 759th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Colton Conkle, who scored 26 points along with five steals. He also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Coby Moore was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Coshocton and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Ridgewood, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Coshocton will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Newcomerstown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newcomerstown is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Ridgewood will finish 2023 at home by hosting River View at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. River View is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
