Softball Recap: Tri-City Christian Eagles vs. Escondido Charter Tigers
Tri-City Christian fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Escondido Charter on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 5-4. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Meanwhile, Escondido Charter (ranked 151st) will meet Foothills Christian (ranked 507th) at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 2.2, the Knights 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
