Volleyball Game Preview: Sugar Valley Rural Phoenix vs. Central Columbia Bluejays

The Sugar Valley Rural Phoenix will face off against the Central Columbia Bluejays at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Sugar Valley Rural came into their game back in September off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy, falling 3-0. The Phoenix haven't had much luck with the WolfPack recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-8, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Central Columbia didn't have quite enough to beat Montoursville on Monday and fell 3-2.

Sugar Valley Rural now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Central Columbia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.

Sugar Valley Rural skirted past Central Columbia 3-2 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Phoenix repeat their success, or do the Bluejays have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
