Soccer Recap: Estacada Takes a Loss

Estacada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 4-2 to the Corbett Cardinals. While losing is never fun, Estacada can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while Corbett are ranked 27th).

Estacada's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Corbett, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Estacada will head out to challenge Molalla at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Estacada will be up against Molalla's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.4 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Corbett, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Horizon Christian on Thursday.
