Eads had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the McClave Cardinals by a score of 4-0 on Saturday. The Eagles' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

The result came thanks to Case Nelson's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 14 Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Eads saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adyn Hough, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Hough is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Shaine Winder also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eads' record is now 18-0. As for McClave, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.
