Volleyball Recap: Tracy Comes Up Short

Tracy lost against Whitney back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Wildcats.

Jolie Lam paced Tracy's offense, picking up five kills. Lam got some help from Alyssa Rupisan and her five assists. Gabriella Hernandez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Whitney's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aubrey Buffum, who had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Buffum a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Regan Parenti, who had nine assists and three aces.

Tracy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Whitney, they moved to 5-7 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

Tracy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Franklin on the 20th. As for Whitney, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Foothill on the 20th.
