Soccer Recap: Galion Comes Up Short at Home Against Buckeye Valley

Galion unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-1 to the Buckeye Valley Barons on Saturday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Galion were already down 4-0.

Coming up, Galion is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Loudonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buckeye Valley, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Highland on the 18th.
