Softball Recap: Upsala Triumphs

Upsala's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 10-6 victory over the Holdingford Huskers. The high-scoring effort was just what the Cardinals needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

Hannah Heesen spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on seven hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Emily Ripplinger, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Lydia Kokett, who went 3-for-5 with three runs and one stolen base.
