Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Idalou). They blew past the Friona Chieftans 83-10 on Tuesday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.

Idalou's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Friona, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Idalou will take on Roosevelt in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Friona and Slaton will compete for holiday cheer at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Slaton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten games.
