Genoa Area is 9-1 against Otsego since February of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Comets will be home for the holidays to greet the Knights at 7:00 p.m. Otsego took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Genoa Area, who comes in off a win.

Genoa Area is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Lake: they outscored them in every quarter. The Comets were the clear victors by a 56-34 margin over the Flyers on Tuesday. The Comets haven't had any issues with the Flyers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Otsego was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 38-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lakota. The game marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Otsego's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Genoa Area, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything came up roses for Genoa Area against Otsego in their previous meeting back in February, as the squad secured a 52-23 victory. Will the Comets repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
