Basketball Recap: Hudson Takes a Loss

Hudson was the 75-40 winner over Dike-New Hartford when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Hudson Pirates fell 69-61 to the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines on Friday. The Pirates' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Hudson's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Dike-New Hartford, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hudson will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Decorah-North Winneshiek at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Dike-New Hartford also won't see the court for a while: their next matchup is against AGWSR at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
