Softball Recap: Yorktown Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Yorktown's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Yorktown's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Skidmore-Tynan, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yorktown will head out to challenge Pettus at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for Skidmore-Tynan, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Skidmore-Tynan Bobcats take on Kenedy Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
