Soccer Recap: Friday Harbor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Orcas Island on Tuesday, Friday Harbor came back down to earth. The Wolverines fell 2-0 to the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Mount Vernon Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Friday Harbor's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-1. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Friday Harbor will head out to challenge La Conner at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they will welcome Sultan at 4:00 p.m. on the 24th.
