Baseball Recap: Jersey Shore Comes Up Short

Jersey Shore lost against Selinsgrove back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bulldogs lost 18-7 to the Seals. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Austin Rhinehart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Zach Myers, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Jersey Shore's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Selinsgrove, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jersey Shore will face off against Warrior Run at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Selinsgrove, they will square off against Williamsport at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
