Basketball Game Preview: Platte/Geddes Black Panthers vs. Corsica/Stickney Jaguars

The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers will head out on the road to take on the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Platte/Geddes is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since January 22, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 72-42 defeat at the hands of Lennox. The Black Panthers have struggled against the Orioles recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Corsica/Stickney waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Titans.

Platte/Geddes' loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Corsica/Stickney, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Platte/Geddes came up short against Corsica/Stickney when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 57-47. Can Platte/Geddes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
