Sasakwa came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Wynnewood Savages, falling 18-4. The Vikings' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Darius Henderson was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Micah Wheeler, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Sasakwa's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Wynnewood, they pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Sasakwa and Wynnewood will both be playing Varnum the next time they take the field. Sasakwa will host Varnum at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while Wynnewood will play them later in the day, at 5:00 p.m.
