Baseball Recap: Rowland Comes Up Short

Rowland lost against Narbonne last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Rowland Raiders came up short against the Narbonne Gauchos, falling 8-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rowland saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Carrillo, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Rowland's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Narbonne, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rowland will face off against Excelsior Charter at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Rowland is facing Excelsior Charter at the right time seeing as Excelsior Charter is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Narbonne, they will take on Palos Verdes at 3:00 p.m. on March 10th.
