Softball Recap: Nelson vs. Reynolds Raiders
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Westview, Nelson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Reynolds Raiders by a score of 6-2. Nelson hasn't had any issues with Reynolds recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Sofia Forbito spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on six hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Alyvia Pietsch was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Addison Osterholm was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.
