Soccer Recap: Englewood's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Englewood came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Middle Park Panthers, falling 7-0. The shutout was out of character for Englewood seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Englewood's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-2-2. As for Middle Park, they pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Englewood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Middle Park, they will square off against Arvada at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Middle Park's defense better be ready for this one: Arvada have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
