Baseball Game Preview: Snow Hill Eagles vs. North Dorchester Eagles

Snow Hill is 7-1 against North Dorchester since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Snow Hill will square off against North Dorchester at 4:00 p.m. Snow Hill will be strutting in after a victory while North Dorchester will be coming in after a defeat.

Snow Hill's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Pocomoke by a score of 5-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Meanwhile, North Dorchester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 6-2 to St. Michaels. The matchup marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

North Dorchester got a good showing from Brock Warrell, who tossed 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

On the hitting side, North Dorchester saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TJ Leonard, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Blake Bramble also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Snow Hill now has a winning record of 4-3. As for North Dorchester, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.

Snow Hill might still be hurting after the 8-2 loss they got from North Dorchester in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Snow Hill avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
