Basketball Recap: River View Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna, River View was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 34-27 win over the Wahluke Warriors. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2020.

River View's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Wahluke, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River View won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Asotin at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. River View is facing Asotin at the right time seeing as Asotin is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Wahluke, they will take on Connell at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Wahluke will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Connell will have lost six straight heading into Tuesday's matchup.
