Leesville's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 16-4 margin over the Georgetown Bulldogs. Considering the Wampus Cats have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Avery Bealer was incredible, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Briawna Frusha was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Two bases. while going 1-for-4.

Leesville pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Georgetown, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leesville will face off against Hicks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Georgetown, they will welcome Peabody at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Peabody has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15 runs per game on average), something Georgetown will no doubt try to take advantage of.
