Soccer Game Preview: Wheatley vs. Northside

The Wheatley Wildcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Northside Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Wheatley can't be too happy about their upcoming road contest considering what happened when they opened their season away from home on Saturday. They lost 12-0 to North Forest. Wheatley have struggled against North Forest recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Northside came up short against Scarborough on Wednesday, falling 9-2. Northside were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 5-1.

Wheatley suffered a grim 7-1 defeat to Northside in their previous matchup back in February of 2025. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Wildcats were down 3-0.
