Volleyball Recap: Three Rivers Takes a Loss

After flying high against Stacey on Tuesday, Three Rivers came back down to earth. The Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ingleside Mustangs on Friday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Three Rivers started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-20, 25-16, 25-22.

Three Rivers' loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Ingleside, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Three Rivers will host Agua Dulce at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ingleside, they will take on Hebbronville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
