Baseball Recap: San Juan Comes Up Short

San Juan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Vacaville Christian Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 on Thursday.

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Vacaville Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Juan will venture away from home to face off against Woodland Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cardinals have averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season. As for Vacaville Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Mesa Verde at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 11.3 runs per game this season.
