Basketball Recap: Moses Lake Gets the Win

Moses Lake hadn't done well against Eastmont recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Moses Lake Mavericks managed a 78-73 victory over the Eastmont Wildcats. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mavericks.

Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lucas Babst, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 23 points. Those 23 points gave Babst a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyse Lewallen, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.
