Jupiter Christian's loss ends six-game winning streak at home

On Tuesday, Jupiter Christian took a serious blow against NSU University, falling 65-36. It was the first time this season that Jupiter Christian let down their fans at home.

Despite the defeat, Jupiter Christian saw an underclassman step up: Emilia Edgar scored 21 points. Edgar scored a full 58.3% of Jupiter Christian's points, the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Anna Norus was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds.

Jupiter Christian's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for NSU University, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jupiter Christian will take on Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Dreyfoos School of the Arts focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Tuesday. As for NSU University, they will head out on the road to face off against Palmer Trinity at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palmer Trinity presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than NSU University in Florida (Palmer Trinity is ranked 84th, while NSU University is ranked 235th).
