Softball Recap: Crean Lutheran Comes Up Short

Crean Lutheran entered their matchup against Northwood on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Crean Lutheran Saints came up short against the Northwood Timberwolves, falling 14-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Saints of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.

This is the second loss in a row for Crean Lutheran and nudges their season record down to 4-6. As for Northwood, their victory bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crean Lutheran will welcome Laguna Hills at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Crean Lutheran has given up an average of 10 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Northwood, they will host Irvine at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The game will give Irvine their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season.
