Basketball Recap: Drew Johnson Key Part of a Team Effort in Spartans Win

Ravenscroft typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday The Burlington School proved too difficult a challenge. They strolled past the Ravenscroft Ravens with points to spare, taking the game 70-51. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The Burlington School's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Drew Johnson, who went 9 for 16 en route to 23 points and five assists. The dominant performance gave Johnson a new career-high in assists. Kaden Hammond was another key player, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 17 boards.

The Burlington School's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game.
