Basketball Recap: Ashley Perdion Key Part of a Team Effort in Bees Win

Given the Bees' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 36th, while the Knights are ranked 367th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brecksville-Broadview Heights to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashley Perdion, who went 5 for 7 on her way to 12 points in addition to six boards and three blocks. Perdion has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Jessie Zenir, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.
