Football Recap: Brindlee Mountain Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brindlee Mountain played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Sylvania Rams, falling 48-14. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost nine in a row.

Tobi Knepper threw for 31 yards and one touchdown. Jaiden Ayers was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Aiden Valachi rushed for 45 yards.

A big part of Sylvania's win came down to the chemistry between Slaytor Waldrop and his top target Nate Battles. Waldrop threw for 92 yards and three TDs while Battles picked up 65 receiving yards and a pair of scores. The dominant performance also gave Waldrop a new career-high in rushing yards (16).

Brindlee Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Sylvania, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Brindlee Mountain does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sylvania, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pisgah at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last five contests.
