Softball Recap: Omaha Comes Up Short

Norfork hit Omaha with a seven-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles lost 16-1 to the Panthers. The Eagles have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Omaha's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Norfork, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Coming up, Omaha will challenge Viola at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Norfork, they will square off against Calico Rock at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
