For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since December 17, 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Jasper fell to 4-1. As for Valley Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Jasper was able to grind out a solid victory over Valley Springs in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, winning 74-67. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
