Beaver Dam dropped their record down to 8-2 on Thursday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Milton Red Hawks by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Golden Beavers have suffered since May 14, 2024.

As for Milton, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 2.75 runs across that stretch.

For Milton's part, Karson Lueck looked comfortable as he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.
