Brayden Booher Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Thursday, Lakeview got the W thanks in part to Brayden Booher playing the best football he has all season. Booher rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making eight total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defending two passes in addition to snagging three interceptions.

Lakeview's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4. Booher and Lakeview will challenge Cambridge Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 118 Rushing Yards from Brett Kania

Cambridge Springs was led to victory by Brett Kania, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kania's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Kania must have Maplewood's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Kania rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries the last time he and the Tigers duked it out back in November of 2023.

Nick Solderich Goes Supernova in Greenville Victory

Nick Solderich's big game helped extend Greenville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Solderich as he rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, and also threw for 155 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Greenville pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Solderich and Greenville will take on Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Cael Thurber Delivers Best Performance of Season

Cael Thurber produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Greenville to the win on Friday. Thurber picked up 65 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
