Baseball Game Preview: High Tech SD Storm vs. Castle Park Trojans

The High Tech SD Storm will square off against the Castle Park Trojans at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. High Tech SD has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight defeats, while Castle Park will come in with three straight victories.

High Tech SD came up short against High Tech CV on Saturday, falling 14-1. The match marked the Storm's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

High Tech SD saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brandon Martinez, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Andrez Dozal also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Castle Park gave up the first runs on Saturday, but they didn't let that get them down. They walked away with an 8-5 win over Southwest SD. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly three runs.

The victory got Castle Park back to even at 3-3. As for High Tech SD, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

High Tech SD suffered a grim 15-0 defeat to Castle Park in their previous meeting back in March of 2022. Can High Tech SD avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
