Baseball Recap: Dunbar Comes Up Short at Home Against School Without Walls

Dunbar unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 22-0 to the School Without Walls Penguins on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Crimson Tide of the 12-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The win got School Without Walls back to even at 3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dunbar will square off against Eastern at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dunbar's pitchers better be ready for this one: Eastern has averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season. As for School Without Walls, they will challenge Riverdale Baptist at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (School Without Walls 4, Riverdale Baptist 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
