            Basketball Recap: Hagerty Huskies vs. Orangewood Christian Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Hagerty's game  last Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Tuesday. They breezed by the Orangewood Christian Rams to the tune of  56-10. The  matchup marked the Huskies' most dominant  win of the  season.

 Hagerty was led to victory by  Shelby Maloney and  Isabel Lindauer.  Maloney  went 7 of 12  on her way to 20 points and six  boards, while  Lindauer  went 7 for 15  en route to 18  points and four  steals. Those four  steals gave  Lindauer a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jarianna Fletcher, who  posted six points.
Hagerty's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Orangewood Christian, they have also been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record  this season.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hagerty will venture away from home to  face off against Oviedo  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hagerty is facing Oviedo at the right time seeing as Oviedo is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for Orangewood Christian, they will take on Forest Lake Academy at 6:00  p.m.  on January 22nd.
