Basketball Recap: Tri-Cities Christian Snags Ninth Victory in Last 11 Games

Tri-Cities Christian saw some tournament action on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions 61-58. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Tri-Cities Christian found their leader in sophomore Lofton Looney, who went 8 for 14 on his way to 21 points. The game was Looney's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Christopher Mulumbela, who went 6 of 10 on his way to 9 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Tri-Cities Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
