Basketball Recap: Gaylord Takes a Loss

Gaylord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Sault Area, falling 55-32. While losing is never fun, Gaylord can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 348th, while Sault Area is ranked 69th).

Gaylord's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Sault Area, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Gaylord didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-46 loss against Cadillac on the 21st. As for Sault Area, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-46 win against Escanaba on the 20th.
