Basketball Game Preview: American Heritage Patriots vs. Summit Academy Bears

The American Heritage Patriots will face off against the Summit Academy Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. American Heritage knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Summit Academy likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, American Heritage got the win against Providence Hall by a conclusive 86-60. American Heritage has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Summit Academy played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 88-38 loss at the hands of Judge Memorial Catholic. The Bears have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

American Heritage is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.6 points per game. As for Summit Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.

Everything came up roses for American Heritage against Summit Academy in their previous meeting last Wednesday, as the squad secured a 66-38 victory. Will American Heritage repeat their success, or does Summit Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
