Cass Tech came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40 points) and they left with even more momentum. They beat the Ford Trojans by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 82-34. The Technicians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 34 points or more this season.

Cass Tech's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42 points. As for Ford, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cass Tech will head out to square off against Christian at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Ford, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Grosse Pointe South at 7:00 p.m. on February 20th.
