Tygarts Valley came out on top against Pocahontas County on Monday thanks in part to Kendall Armstrong's efforts. Armstrong went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI. The performance marked the most runs he has had since back in March.

Armstrong and Tygarts Valley will take on East Hardy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Armstrong had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their matchup back in April of 2023 10-0.
