Hayward is 8-2 against San Lorenzo since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Farmers will host the Grizzlies at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with eight consecutive losses for Hayward and four for San Lorenzo.

On Friday, Hayward didn't have quite enough to beat San Leandro and fell 3-2.

Hayward saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Duran, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times San Lorenzo and Mt. Eden had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Grizzlies lost 10-4 to the Monarchs on Friday.

San Lorenzo's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Hayward, their loss dropped their record down to 3-16.

Hayward skirted past San Lorenzo 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Will the Farmers repeat their success, or do the Grizzlies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
