Soccer Recap: Carson Comes Up Short

After soaring to five goals the game before, Carson was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 4-1 to the South Rowan Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against South Rowan this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 last Monday.

Carson's goal came courtesy of Allie Martin, who's now up to 18 this season.

Carson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1. As for South Rowan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-4.

Carson didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 10-1 loss against Northwest Cabarrus on the 25th. As for South Rowan, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Central Cabarrus on the 24th.
