Los Fresnos triumphant thanks to a strong effort from Gio Galvan

Recap: Los Fresnos Falcons vs. Weslaco Panthers

The Los Fresnos Falcons lost to the Weslaco Panthers back in February of 2023, but the Los Fresnos Falcons didn't allow the Weslaco Panthers the same satisfaction on Friday. Los Fresnos managed a 43-39 victory over Weslaco. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Los Fresnos has scored all year.

It was another big night for Gio Galvan, who scored 21 points along with nine rebounds. Jj Salazar was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.

Los Fresnos has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-7 record this season. As for Weslaco, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-17.

Los Fresnos will take on Hanna at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hanna is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Weslaco, they will head out on the road to take on Rivera at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Rivera focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Tuesday.
